Course Outline:

Week 1 (Mar. 27) Digital Graphics PowerPoint on vocabulary such as raster, resolution, file extensions, compression. Introduction to the Photoshop working environment. Different types of selections.

No Class April 3rd

Week 2 (Apr. 10) Using Layers, naming, duplicating, organizing in sets, links, blending modes, etc. Transforming objects.

Week 3 (Apr. 17) Photo Enhancements: graphic modes, Adjustment menu such as levels, curves, color balance, hue/saturation, replace color…

Week 4 (Apr. 24) Photo Enhancements continued: Finish Adjustment Menu,

Enhancement tools such as Stamp, Healing Brush, Patch…

Week 5 (May. 1) Advanced Photo Editing: Red Eye, Hair Color, Freckles, etc.

Week 7 (May. 15) Actions palette and automating tasks, RAW files
